DJ Cory Springer

When did your DJ career first begin? I started DJing in 1994/1995 with my Uncle Ralph, helping him with dances, graduation parties, and my friends' weddings. In 2000, I started DJing in clubs full time, like Have A Nice Day Cafe, Dixies Tavern, and Bar Norfolk. BMG started sending me around the country to open new bars in different cities and train DJs.


How would you describe your personal DJ/MC style? My personal style. I consider myself a fun dj. Not all brides & grooms want the same thing. Some want the over the top funny Introductions and some don't want to be the center of attention at all. I will do whatever you are looking for.

What is your favorite part of being a DJ? At the end of a wedding and the bride & groom and family friends tell you how much of a good time they had.

What are a few interesting (non DJ related) facts about yourself? I am a 51 year old with a 5 year old daughter and we have dance parties every weekend in the garage! Wife thinks we are crazy! I also run the Maintenance department for the largest Precast company on the east coast.
